Gayatri Shaktipeeth,Jaipur is one of the oldest shaktipeeths in Rajasthan.It works under the sub zone Pushker(Ajmer) Rajasthan.On dated 19.01.1973 the foundation stone of Shaktipeeth was laid down by Gurudev Acharya SriRam Sharma ji ,thereafter, it is performing nicely with all activities.The Shaktipeeth is located in between Govind Deo ji's temple and Gargh Ganesh temple in Paundarik Garden,Brhampuri,Jaipur. Acharya ShriRam Sharma visited Kanvat,Vatika,Kachola and Pushker in the month of December,1980.In Rajasthan there are more than 175 Shaktipeeths. Being centrally located it has its own imprtance.It was initially starded in Jugal Behari's temple located at Johari Bazar(Paratanio ka Rasta),Jaipur.At that time 51 kundia Yagaya was performed in the month of February,1962.In the year 1971,a big 108 kundia Yagaya was performed under the auspicious presence of Acharya ji. The first AsvaMegh Yagya was held under the auspicious presence of Mata Bhagvati Devi Sharma in Jaipur during 7-10 Nov.,1992.
The Jaipur Branch of AWGP is fully devoted to disseminating the holy thoughts of Gurude Acharya SriRam Sharma in Jaipur and other regions of Rajasthan. It undertakes several programs to propagate the ideals of the mission through activities like organizing book fairs , lectures,Sanskrati Gyan Pariksha(Examination) at various educational institution,Pragaya Puran Katha, conducting Yagya,Deep Yagya and other 16 hindu samskaras and so on. Nav Chetna Kendras(Centres) is the local centre of activities in Jaipur.
